DESCRIPTION
Network demarcation device for Carrier Ethernet that acts as a delimiter between the provider and the client at the UNI interface as specified in MEF-4, offering a redundant fiber link of 1Gbps towards the provider domain. Oriented to work as UNI-C, the typical location is the client building managed by the operator, offering standard Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) and standard management mechanisms in-band and out of band.
As differential feature, allows to actively taking traffic measurements between any TELNET access equipment for Metropolitan Network, extracting the relevant information for the network provider in order to guarantee SLA’s.
